Simulation 

Students learn from and in  simulation facilities that mimic patient care

Students practice treatments and tooth preparation techniques before treating patients in clinical placements

Students develop and deliver school-based oral health promotion programs

Students apply their health promotion skills to real-world dentistry scenarios.

Cooperative learning 

Students exchange ideas in a supportive environment

Students use techniques like "think, pair, share"

Inquiry-based learning 

Students think critically about health promotion strategies to address contemporary oral health challenges

Subjects include dental sciences and head and neck anatomy  as well as communication skills for health professionals
